On October 17, 2013, An Post issued four stamps celebrating Contemporary Public Buildings.

The public buildings featured project a forward-looking and creative image of Ireland, and demonstrate contemporary architecture enhancing the environment.

The Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork, is an outstanding example of contemporary public building design for the arts and culture. Designed by O’Donnell + Tuomey Architects, it was named Best Public Building in Ireland by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) in 2005.
