Construction has begun on Phase 1 of the Central European University campus redevelopment in Budapest. The phase will see the construction of a new library spread across five floors, an auditorium, multiple public spaces, teaching and learning facilities, study rooms, and a café.

The scheme sits within existing courtyards in a dense area of Budapest’s historical city centre.
