Kate studied architecture at University College Dublin, graduating in 2012. Her degree included a semester abroad at Delft University of Technology. As a student she worked as an architectural assistant in Dublin, New York and Amsterdam.
After graduating Kate worked in London-based practices where she explored an interest in education, working on a number of school projects and spaces for learning. She enjoyed running a project for a school catering for children with complex special needs. In 2015 she completed her Part 3 at the University of Westminster.
Kate joined O'Donnell + Tuomey to work on Sadler's Wells East, a new dance theatre and choreographic school in London. She is both a project architect and BIM lead on the Sadler’s Wells team. Her other projects have included Grangegorman Academic Hub and the competition entry for Shanghai Grand Opera House.
