Kate studied architecture at University College Dublin, graduating in 2012. Her degree included a semester abroad at Delft University of Technology. She later completed her Part III at the University of Westminster. As a student she worked as an architectural assistant in Dublin, New York and Amsterdam.
After graduating, Kate worked in London-based practices where she explored an interest in education, working on a number of school projects and spaces for learning. She enjoyed running a project for a school catering for children with complex special needs.
Kate joined O'Donnell + Tuomey to work on Sadler's Wells, a new dance theatre and choreographic school in East London. She is currently both Senior Architect and BIM Lead on the Sadler’s Wells team. Other projects she was worked on include TU Dublin Academic Hub & Library and the competition entry for Shanghai Grand Opera House.
