Hugh completed his undergraduate and M Arch degrees from University College Dublin, graduating in 2019 with a first-class honours and was awarded with the Thesis Portfolio of the Year award. Hugh completed his Professional Accreditation with Distinction in TUDublin.
Prior to joining O’Donnell + Tuomey in 2019, he gained experience working with ODOS Architects in Dublin. He was also a contributor to the Irish Pavilion ‘Freemarket’ at the 2018 Venice Biennale, and has gained further exhibition experience working on O’Donnell + Tuomey submissions to the Drawing Matter exhibition ‘Alternative Histories’ and RHA Annual Exhibition.
Since joining O’Donnell + Tuomey, Hugh has gained valuable experience working across a diverse array of project scales and profiles including the Grangegorman Academic Hub and Library, Christian Brothers School, and a range of housing projects. He is currently working on the Swords Cultural Quarter and a new Studio development in Rathmines.
