Brian Barber

Senior Architect

Brian studied architecture in UCD and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Copenhagen. Before joining O’Donnell + Tuomey in 2011 he had previously worked for Lotus Architects, McCullough Mulvin Architects and O’Briain Beary Architects on a range of projects from one off housing, education, healthcare to large scale housing.

He was project architect on the award winning Vessel, O’Donnell + Tuomey’s entry to the 2012 Venice Biennale and coordinated the Vessel’s exhibitions in Dublin and at the Galway Arts Festival 2013. He was editor of the recently published ‘Space for Architecture, the work of O’Donnell + Tuomey’. Currently he is a senior architect responsible for the design and delivery of V&A Museum in East London.
