Brian studied architecture in University College Dublin and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Copenhagen. Before joining O’Donnell + Tuomey in 2011 he had previously worked for Lotus Architects, McCullough Mulvin Architects and O’Briain Beary Architects on a range of projects from one off housing, education, healthcare to large scale housing.
He was Project Architect on the award winning Vessel, O’Donnell + Tuomey’s entry to the 2012 Venice Biennale and coordinated the Vessel’s exhibitions in Dublin and at the Galway Arts Festival 2013. Brian has worked as our in-house editor for our monographs ‘Space for Architecture, the work of O’Donnell + Tuomey’, published in 2014, and ‘More Space for Architecture, the work of O’Donnell + Tuomey’, to be published in the new year. His current role is Senior Architect, responsible for the design and delivery of V&A East Museum in London.
