Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Awareness of good environmental performance is a strategic objective of our practice in both operation and design. Having established the necessity to take action as a company, we are committed to achieving Net Zero in our practice, and follow the basic principles by applying the three “R”s policy – Reduce, Re-use, Recycle - in all aspects of our operations.

Reduce: reduce demand for a resource by addressing each requirement and considering how to minimise it.

Re-Use: an important part of reducing demand for new products is to re-use resources already within the office.

Recycle: when an item has reached the end of its useful life within the office then send it for recycling rather than landfill so that the components are converted back into a useful resource for a new application.

We also understand the principle of the fourth “R” – Removing. Removing the requirement guarantees the greatest level of sustainability. We do not need cars if practice employees cycle to work or work in hybrid mode.
