AAI Site Visit to St. Angela’s College Cork
St. Angela’s College Cork founded in 1887 is located on the north bank of the city centre within a tight urban setting. The almost landlocked site is located along the steeply sloping iconic St. Patrick Hill occupying an entire urban block on various levels containing three protected historic buildings.
O’Donnell + Tuomey developed a scheme interlinking the existing structures and site levels with three new major building interventions creating a unique school campus on five levels opening the site up to the city and creating a vibrant learning environment.
As there are limited places for this event the AAI are charging for entry in advance to ensure that those who reserve places attend on the day. The charge is the typical €5 event charge with an additional €1.08 handling fee. Annual pass holders and Friends of the AAI must also pay in advance to book their place but will be refunded their fee, minus handling charge, if they attend on the day.
For people travelling from outside Cork city, the school is a 10 minute walk from Kent station. PPE is not required for this site visit. Entry to this site visit is with booking only, RIAI CPD receipts will be available on the day for an additional €5 charge.
