Supercrit No 7 was organised by EXP the research centre for Experimental Practice at the University of Westminster in collaboration with the Architecture Foundation and in association with Tate Britain.

The event was held at the Clore Gallery in parallel with their current exhibition: James Stirling, Notes from the Archive. James Stirling’s 1977 competition-winning design for the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart was presented by Michael Wilford to a public audience and a panel of invited critics.

The panel, chaired by Piers Gough, included Charles Jencks, Louisa Hutton, Kieran Long and John Tuomey.
