Ruth McNickle

Ruth completed both her undergraduate and MArch degrees at the University of Edinburgh, where she graduated with a first-class honours in 2018 and received a Commendation for her Masters project for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal. She went on to complete her RIBA Part III at The Bartlett in London.

Prior to joining O’Donnell + Tuomey, Ruth gained valuable experience over four years at Adjaye Associates in London, working on prominent cultural projects across several continents.

Since joining the studio in 2022, Ruth has been working on the Student Centre for the University of York.
