John Tuomey’s article shortlisted for the CICA Pierre Vago Journalism Award 2020

After a record number of submissions and extended deliberation, The International Committee of Architectural Critics recently announced its shortlist for the 2020 Dennis Sharp CICA Awards.

John Tuomey’s article “Bringing Heaven Down to Earth: Reading the Plan of Ronchamp” has been shortlisted for the CICA Pierre Vago Journalism Award 2020. This article was published in March 2019 in arq: Architectural Research Quarterly, vol. 23, no. 1, by Cambridge University Press.

The CICA Pierre Vago Journalism Award is awarded “for an article of architectural criticism for individual, institutional or society magazines, newspapers and journals”.

The winners will be announced at the 27th UIA World Congress of Architects, currently postponed until summer of 2021.
